Black Hole

Image
If light want to escape form Black Hole  he can't escape Why??. The answer is that any gas or dust near the black hole tends to pulled into an accreditation disk that swirls around and into the black hole , rather like a whirlpool    Friction within the accreditation disk material causes it to lose a mechanical energy and spirl into the black hole ; as it is moves inward , it is compressed together . This causes heating of the material , just like as air compressed in a bicycle pump gets hotter. First Image Of Black Hole

Image
The supermassive black hole at the core of supergiant elliptical galaxy Messier 87 , with a mass ~7 billion times the Sun's,as depicted in the first image released by the Event Horizon Telescope (10 April 2019 ).Visible are the crescent-shapede ring and central shadow, which areg magnified views of the black hole' gravitationally magnified views of the black holes photon ring and the photon capture zone of its event horizon. The crescent shape arises from the black hole's rotation and relativistic beaming; the shadow is about 2.6 times the diameter of the event horizon. Block hole

Black hole            The concept of a black hole is one of the most interesting and startling products modern gravitational theory          In 1783 the Rev.John Mitchell, amateur astronomer , noted that if a body with same average density as the sun had about 500 times the radius of the sun , magnitude of its escape velocity would be greater than the speed of light C . With his statement that "alllight emitted from such body would like be made to return toward it" Michell became the first person to suggest the existence of what we now call it a Black  hole    This above image of black hole will be post resently on NASA Twitter  https://twitter.com/NASA/status/1177417427405148160?s=20

Today college and school of will be closed in Pune district

Image
Today college remains closed by Pune district collecter because of the weather forecast.                     Intense rainfall continued in the city on Tuesday night and early on Wednesday morning, following heavy showers post-midnight on Monday. Shivajinagar witnessed 78.3mm rainfall in 12 hours between 8.30pm on Tuesday and 8.30am on Wednesday. The intensity of showers may reduce a bit, but the city is likely to experience thunder and rainfall in the next couple of days, said an official of the  India Meteorological Department  (IMD). According to the IMD’s data, Shivajinagar recorded only 0.4mm rainfall between 8.30am and 5.30pm on Tuesday. There was 8.3mm rain in the next three hours. In the next 12 hours, Shivajinagar recorded 78.6mm rainfall.    That's why college and school will be closed on 27th September 2019   For more information visit this page

Application of Thermal Expension

Application Considerations With respect to temperature, the magnitude ofthe CTE increases with rising temperature .Thermal expansion of pure metals has been wellc up to their melting points, but datafor engineering alloys at very high temperatures may be limited. In general, CTE values for metals fall between those of ceramics (lower values)apolymers (higher values). Common values for metals and alloys are in the range of 10 to 30 × 10–6/K (5.5 to 16.5 × 10–6/°F). The lowest expansion is found in the iron-nickel alloys such as Invar. Increasing expansion occurs with sili- con, tungsten, titanium, silver, iron, nickel, steel, gold, copper, tin, magnesium, aluminum, zinc, lead, potassium, sodium, and lithium. Low-expansion alloys are materials with di- mensions that do not change appreciably with temperature. Alloys included in this category are various binary iron-nickel alloys and several ter- nary alloys of iron combined with nickel- chromium, nickel-...

THE COEFFICIENT OF LINEAR

THE COEFFICIENT OF LINEAR  thermal expansion (CTE, α, or α1) is a material property that is indicative of the extent to which a mate- rial expands upon heating. Different substances expand by different amounts. Over small tem- perature ranges, the thermal expansion of uni- form linear objects is proportional to tempera- ture change. Thermal expansion finds useful application in bimetallic strips for the construc- tion of thermometers but can generate detrimen- tal internal stress when a structural part is heated and kept at constant length. For a more detailed discussion of thermal expansion including theory and the effect of crystal symmetry, the reader is referred to the CINDAS Data Series on Material Properties, Volumes 1 to 4, Thermal Expansion of Solids (Ref 1). Definitions Most solid materials expand upon heating and contract when cooled. The change in length with temperature for a solid material can be ex- pressed as: (l f – l 0)/l 0 = α1 (Tf – T...
